Matsuri Karakuri Performance

The Festival Karakuri Performance are marionette performances of old Japanese legends and tales and Noh drama librettos. They are fgor many thr height of the festival. Control of the dolls are done by teams who prefect their art throughout the year. Often the tradition is passed down along family lines.
