Eikando Temple

Eikan-dō Zenrin-j is the head temple for the Seizan branch of Japan's Jōdo-shū (Pure Land) Buddhist sect. The temple compound is located in Kyoto's Eastern Mountain (Higashiyama), and most of its buildings are connected by covered walkways and staircases. It has beautiful grounds and one of my favorite temples in Kyoto.
